Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you use Tesla Hunter Pro (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Account information: your email address and authentication identifier, provided via our authentication provider (Supabase) when you sign in with Google, Apple, GitHub, or email. We do not receive or store your third-party passwords.

Subscription information: billing status and identifiers from our payment processors (Stripe; Apple for iOS). We do not store your full card number; payment details are handled directly by the processor.

Usage data: basic events such as sign-ins, searches, and features used, to operate and improve the Service. Standard server logs (e.g., IP address, timestamps) may be collected for security and reliability.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Service is not directed to them.

2. How we use information

To provide and secure the Service; process subscriptions; authenticate you; respond to support requests; understand and improve usage; and comply with legal obligations. We may send transactional emails (e.g., sign-in links, price-drop alerts you request, billing notices).

3. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service. These currently include our authentication provider (Supabase), payment processors (Stripe, Apple), database/hosting (Neon, Fly.io), and email delivery, each acting on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

4. Data retention & security

We retain account and subscription data while your account is active and as needed for legal/operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, encrypted secret storage). No method is 100% secure.

5. Your choices & rights

You may access or delete your account, cancel your subscription, and opt out of non-essential emails at any time from your account or by contacting us. Depending on your location (e.g., California/CCPA, EU/UK GDPR), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

6. Cookies & local storage

We use local storage and cookies as needed to keep you signed in and remember preferences (e.g., favorites). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

7. Third-party links & data

The Service links to and displays data from third parties (dealer listings, Carfax, NHTSA). Their content and privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
